June meeting announced as chancellor fails to quell concerns over UK medical charities’ R&D funding

The University of Oxford will host a meeting of G7 health ministers in early June to discuss issues including global health security, antimicrobial resistance, clinical trials and digital health.

The announcement coincides with launch of the UK’s “largest-ever research programme” on genomic health, and ongoing concerns over a shortfall in charity funding for medical research.
