Amanda Solloway insists UK government is “not shying away” from racism, bias and discrimination

Science minister Amanda Solloway has defended the government’s new R&D People and Culture Strategy, following criticisms that it ignored issues such as racism and other forms of discrimination.

Published on 22 July, the strategy sets out a long-awaited vision to make the UK the “best destination in the world for researchers” while acknowledging challenges in the sector such as bullying and harassment.
