Experts map out how UK can regulate tech innovation better

           

Regulation should embrace ethics and public engagement while taking account of commercial considerations, says council

An independent group of experts has called for a number of regulatory changes to enable the “rapid and safe” adoption of technological innovation in the UK.

In their latest report, the Regulatory Horizons Council, which advises the government on regulation of innovation, identifies six ‘focal points’, which it says should guide those involved in regulatory design and implementation.
