UK party’s industrial strategy sets out four central “missions”, including harnessing data for public good

The Labour Party has set out a new “mission-based” industrial strategy, including a plan to ensure researchers have better access to data.

In the new document, published on 26 September during the party’s annual conference, Labour’s shadow business secretary Jonathan Reynolds sets out four central “missions”: delivering clean power by 2030, caring for the future, harnessing data for the public good and building a resilient economy.
