Former vaccine tsar Kate Bingham among those recruited to Advanced Research and Invention Agency board

The long-awaited Advanced Research and Invention Agency has finally arrived, after being formally established on 25 January.

A number of key appointments have also been made at the “high-risk, high-payoff” funder—which is earmarked to spend £800 million on projects by 2025-26—following a commencement order made in parliament.
