Former science minister Chris Skidmore calls for strong government action on R&D in wide-ranging review

A major review of the UK’s ability to achieve net zero says that the country should “do more” to speed up growth of net zero R&D, calling for concerted government action.

The wide-ranging review, authored by former science minister Chris Skidmore and published on 13 January, makes more than 100 recommendations spanning areas from business engagement and R&D to delivering more energy-efficient homes.
