Government plans to allow adults to access loans for “credits” to wide range of short courses

Government plans to give adults access to tuition fee loans have begun their passage into law.

The Lifelong Learning (Higher Education Fee Limits) Bill, which received its first reading in the House of Commons on 1 February, would change the rules on tuition fee loans so they can be sought for learning in smaller chunks rather than the full academic years required at present.
