Nobel laureate says prime minister may not have “had the best advice” on EU programme
Paul Nurse has said that the government’s alternative plans to joining the EU’s Horizon Europe R&D programme will be “utterly inadequate”.
The director of the Francis Crick Institute also said that the prime minister may not have received good advice on joining the programme, following reports suggesting Rishi Sunak is sceptical about the value of Horizon Europe membership.
