Former cabinet duo defeated by Liberal Democrat challengers
The Conservative government’s most recent education secretary Gillian Keegan has lost her seat, alongside former science secretary Michelle Donelan, amid a crushing defeat for the Tories in last night’s general election.
Keegan lost her MP seat in Chichester, while Donelan lost hers in in Melksham and Devizes, both defeated by Liberal Democrat candidates.
