MPs tell government to lay out steps for formalising participation in EU programmes, including Horizon
Delays in formalising the UK’s participation in the European Union’s R&D programme Horizon Europe have left British institutions “high and dry”, according to a group of MPs.
Political disputes between the EU and the UK over Northern Ireland have contributed to delays to the UK becoming associated to the €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) programme, with three other programmes also affected, namely the Euratom nuclear research, the Fusion for Energy, and the Copernicus satellite earth observation.
