Scottish investment minister writes to UK government calling for fund to be fully devolved

The Scottish government has called for an urgent meeting with the UK government to discuss plans for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK government promised to set up the fund to replace EU structural funds—estimated to have provided €2.3 billion (£2bn) per year to the UK between 2014 and 2020 to boost low-performing regional economies.
