UK and Sweden agree to boost cooperation in life sciences

   

Two countries say they are “natural partners” as they have “long and deep scientific ties”

The UK and Sweden are set to sign a declaration of cooperation in life sciences today as the two countries are “natural partners” with “long scientific ties”.

Science minister George Freeman said on 27 May that he will be joined by the Swedish royal family and the Swedish science minister Anna Ekström for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in life sciences.
