Red tape created by Brexit is jeopardising breeding programmes designed to save endangered species, the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums has warned.

An increased administrative burden has made it more difficult to transfer zoo animals between Europe and the UK, which is an important part of species conservation in forming safety net populations, Biaza has said.
