AHRC head to take on champion role in March as international funds come under pressure
UK Research and Innovation has appointed its next international champion, responsible for leading the funder’s international programmes.
Christopher Smith, executive chair of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, will take over the position at UKRI from Andrew Thompson at the end of March.
