GCRF researchers will find out today if their grants are cancelled

UK Research and Innovation will tell grant holders if their projects is cancelled by 4pm

Researchers funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund will today find out if their grant is being terminated as a result of cuts to research funded by the UK aid budget.

UK Research and Innovation has written to research institutions and grant holders to tell them that cancellations will be communicated by 4pm. For projects continuing with reduced budgets, the funder said it would give detailed information to institutions in early May.
