KEF could offer ‘better method’ for carving up £250m in funding

But changes to Higher Education Innovation Funding are not expected before 2023-24, says Research England

Hamish McAlpine, head of KE data and evidence at Research England, told delegates at a Westminster Forum conference on 7 September that work to link the KEF to funding for knowledge exchange activities in universities would not be “a very quick endeavour”, but he stressed that it could “form a better method of distribution” for the cash.
