The number of UK universities that offer courses to learners studying in other countries has increased again to a new record high, but global tensions and regulatory changes in the UK could affect future growth.
A report published by Universities UK International (UUKi) on 25 October revealed that 156 UK-based higher education institutions have some students who are enrolled through transnational education (TNE), meaning that they are learning at a university’s overseas campus or through a partner organisation.
