Stephen Toope calls for “more risk-literate culture in our universities” amid rise in threats

UK researchers must be made aware of the personal and data protection risks involved in forming partnerships with counterparts in other countries, the University of Cambridge’s vice-chancellor has warned.

Speaking in a Q&A for a virtual assembly of the League of European Research Universities, Stephen Toope spoke of some of the persistent threats to academic freedom experienced by scholars around the world and by his own university.
