Universities UK denies UCU claim employers underplayed changes to pensions as staff prepare for strikes
The University and College Union has accused Universities UK of “misleading” staff and students over the extent to which reforms to the USS pension will reduce their benefits post retirement.
Universities UK has strongly rebutted the claim, saying it is an attempt to “stoke up the appetite of their members for industrial action”.
