The Office for Students will become “more assertive in intervening” where universities are judged to be falling short, England’s regulator has said in its 2021 annual review.
The review, published on 1 December, comes as the OfS conducts a consultation on its next three-year strategy, which promises a “renewed focus” on improving quality and standards.
