First Knowledge Exchange Framework results reveal different priorities for research-intensive and teaching-intensive universities
Modern, teaching-intensive universities are focusing more on local growth than their research-intensive counterparts, the first set of Knowledge Exchange Framework results have shown.
The KEF results, published on 31 March, revealed significant differences in how institutions approach knowledge exchange in their local areas. Universities are split into clusters with similar institutions for the KEF—for example, specialist universities and research-intensive universities are in separate clusters.
