Redundancy row rumbles on at University of Chester

     

Some roles taken out of redundancy discussions, but union will still ballot for industrial action

Proposed redundancies at the University of Chester’s English, theology and geography departments have been shelved, although several roles are still at risk, the University and College Union has said.

The UCU said staff could still be made redundant from departmental roles in history and archaeology, music, media and performance, and engineering.
