Campaigners urge other institutions to follow suit as cost of living crisis intensifies

The University of Westminster has been praised for its support for self-funded and international PhD students during the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Over the past few months, several universities have increased their support for PhD researchers struggling financially amid rising inflation and soaring energy bills. But a number of self-funded researchers have complained about being excluded from support schemes.
