Almost a third of students say they are skipping some lectures and tutorials in order to save money, experimental data from the Office for National Statistics suggest.
In a survey exploring how the crisis might affect students’ finances, some 29 per cent of respondents reported that they were skipping non-mandatory lectures and tutorials to save on costs, while 40 per cent were studying more at home for the same reason.
