Lifelong Loan Entitlement ‘needs student e-portfolio’

   

Modular learning means central electronic record of prior achievement should be developed, says University Alliance

A “National Learner Record System” should be established as part of the government’s Lifelong Loan Entitlement plans, in order to help institutions keep track of students’ previous learning, the University Alliance group has said.

On 5 May, the alliance—which represents 14 technical and professional universities in the UK—published its LLE blueprint, in which it sets out how it feels the loan entitlement can be made a success.
