NUS picks barrister for investigation

Queen’s Counsel Rebecca Tuck will scrutinise historic and recent allegations of antisemitism at the NUS

The National Union of Students has appointed Rebecca Tuck QC to lead an independent investigation into allegations of antisemitism at the union.

Tuck, an employment and discrimination law specialist, will examine recent and historical allegations of antisemitism at the union, including controversy around a rapper booked for the NUS conference in March and tweets published by the president-elect Shaima Dallali when she was a teenager, which she has since apologised for.
