OIA advises on ‘significant impact’ of cost of living crisis

      

Adjudicator draws on past complaints to offer guidance for universities and learners

Advice on how students and universities can “mitigate the impact” of the cost of living crisis has been published by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.

In guidance issued on 27 September, the OIA said that the rising cost of living “is causing a great deal of anxiety across the country”, and that rising transport, food and energy bills was having a “significant impact on many students”.
