Majority of teaching continued in most institutions during strikes

Ucea releases information showing the impact of December’s strikes by the UCU

Two-thirds of the universities where staff went on strike in December have said that less than a quarter of their teaching was affected by the industrial action.

Members of the University and College Union at 58 institutions took part in three days of strike action in early December last year over pay and conditions or pension reform, or both disputes.
