Welsh institutions to get £46m green funding boost

Universities to receive money to improve infrastructure and carry out research

Universities and colleges in Wales are to receive a share of £46 million in Welsh Government funding to help them reduce their carbon footprint and improve their digital connectivity.

The investment forms part of the government’s commitment to Wales achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, and is part of a wider £65m package of funding for post-16 education.
