University and College Union sets out strike plans after rejecting pay offer from employers
Members of the University and College Union are set to strike for 18 days in February and March, after UCU representatives rejected the latest pay offer from employers.
The strike action was decided at a meeting of the union’s Higher Education Committee (HEC) on 12 January, at which the union also decided to reballot staff at 150 universities to stretch the UCU’s strike mandate well into 2023, with a marking and assessment boycott from April.
