All St Andrews researchers will be required to deposit accepted journal manuscripts in online repository

The University of St Andrews has launched an open-access policy under which all its researchers will be required to deposit accepted journal manuscripts in an online repository.

Researchers at the university will be required to include a rights retention statement on journal submissions. These statements are increasingly used to achieve open access and are placed on submission cover letters to establish an author’s right to reuse the manuscript.
