UK universities ‘should share offices for spinouts’

Independent review of spinouts suggests institutions should pull resources to boost commercialisations

Universities in the UK should join forces and provide shared space for offices that commercialise research, a review has suggested.

Shared technology transfer spaces could “help build scale and critical mass” for the spinouts’ work, especially at smaller universities, according to an independent review for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
