The link between climate change and public health is growing starker as countries tackle the fallout of rising global temperatures and increasingly frequent extreme weather events.
The impacts are being felt across the United States, from Hurricane Ian—the most destructive hurricane to hit Florida since 1935—to ferocious wildfire seasons on the Pacific seaboard.
