Applied biologist Renee Wegrzyn selected to lead Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health

US president Joe Biden has chosen applied biologist Renee Wegrzyn to lead the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health—the new federal biomedical agency modelled on the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Arpa-H was created earlier this year with a starting budget of $1 billion. It is expected to rapidly develop new solutions to complex public health challenges.
