Group will develop policies for tackling systemic challenges
The US National Academy of Sciences has assembled a high-level panel tasked with safeguarding the health and integrity of research.
The 17-member Strategic Council for Research Excellence, Integrity and Trust, which will meet for the first time in October, will identify challenges to research ethics and integrity, and “work to develop policies and best practices for solving these challenges” by bringing together researchers, institutions and policymakers, the NAS announced on 13 July.
