The White House has published a detailed strategy of how it plans to prepare the United States for future pandemics and other biological threats, including through research on a ‘universal vaccine’.

Published on 2 September, the report on the US’s preparedness to deal with and prevent pandemics focuses on how the country must build up its capacity in R&D and public health.
