Unesco pushes equality in international deal on open science

               

Member states sign up to making research results more accessible and supporting not-for profit publishing

The United Nations science body Unesco has promised that agreement from its 193 member countries to drive forward open science will also advance equality.

On 24 November Unesco member states adopted an international framework setting standards on open science, following a unanimous vote the previous week.
