The United States and China dominate the world in the output of research papers and now a US-based think tank has shown just how all-encompassing that dominance is.
Autumn Toney and Melissa Flagg, researchers at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology, grouped 105 million research publications into “clusters” of papers that cite one another more than outside publications.
