Ten European countries have joined up to support humanities and social science led bids

Top tips:

  • Involve non-scientists in the design of projects.
  •  The most important criteria against which applications will be evaluated are the scientific importance and potential impact—not just academic impact—of the proposal.
  • There is a deadline for outline proposals in January but these submissions are not scored. However, applying at this stage is still essential.

JPI Climate is an alliance of 18 European member countries and four associated states who join up to fund transnational research projects.
