Building solid consortia is essential in the Innovative Health Initiative’s first call of Horizon Europe
The Innovative Health Initiative aims to turn research and innovations in health into tangible benefits for clinicians and patients. It is a public-private partnership between the European Union and European life science firms. Under Horizon 2020, the EU’s previous seven-year research funding framework, the IHI was known as the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI).
Through the current funding framework, Horizon Europe, the IHI is running its first funding call for proposals on topics including cancer, cardiovascular disease and health data. There are two strands.
