Opposition party says student mental health at risk during Covid-19 isolation

A brewing mental health crisis among students resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic must be tackled immediately with emergency measures, the Labour Party has told the government.

Labour’s shadow education secretary Kate Green and shadow mental health minister Rosena Allin-Khan urged ministers to “take immediate action” to support students who have to self-isolate at university due to the coronavirus.
