Conservative conference: minister tells universities that lifelong learning entitlement will ‘fertilise demand’ among students

Universities have been urged to “embrace” plans for lifelong learning and work with the government to make its “skills revolution” a success.

Further and higher education minister Michelle Donelan told delegates at a fringe event at the Conservative conference on 5 October that universities should “really embrace” the lifelong loan entitlement detailed in the Skills and Post-16 Education Bill.
