Todd Walker will move from University of New England in Australia next year

The University of the Highlands and Islands has appointed Todd Walker as its third vice-chancellor since the university was established a decade ago.

Walker (pictured), currently deputy vice-chancellor at the University of New England in Australia, will take up his post on 1 February next year, exactly 10 years since the University of the Highlands and Islands was established. He will take over from interim head Crichton Lang, who has been leading the university since Clive Mulholland retired in July last year.
