Antimicrobial resistance, pharmacogenetics, epidemics and noncommunicable disease in the crosshairs
The South African Medical Research Council has launched four external extramural research units that its president says will “pivot to the future” of the work it carries out.
The four units, launched on 22 August, are university-based centres that will study epidemics, antimicrobial resistance, pharmacogenetics and the interaction between non-communicable and infectious diseases.
