Farmers and borders need expert help as disease threatens Australia, scientists say

Australian biosecurity arrangements are in need of urgent review, researchers in the area have warned.

An outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease is increasingly likely and Australia must address on-farm bio-preparedness nationally, according to Deborah Evans from Edith Cowan university.
