Bill could cause Australia’s research rate to ‘decline precipitously’
The federal government’s Job-Ready Graduates bill should only be passed in tandem with a new system of research funding, a Senate inquiry has heard.
The Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee inquiry into the bill has been told that the changes do not include provisions for research activities.
