Labor government’s first budget should “secure the next waves of research” in Australia
Universities have asked the Australian government to use this week’s budget to extend support for students and give certainty on research funding, while the health research sector has made a play for hundreds of millions more per year.
The budget on 25 October will be the Labor government’s first.
