Australia must “harness the strengths of international students” rather than focusing on challenges, says expert

A “shift in thinking” is needed around how Australia views international students at its universities, a University of Melbourne education researcher has said.

In an article published on the university’s website on 25 July, Andrew Deuchar says Australia needs a “policy that harnesses the strengths of international students”.
