ANR gives Loire partnership a clean bill of health

Pilot project between funder and regional government points to further collaboration

The research partnership between the France’s National Research Agency (ANR) and the Pays de la Loire region has been fruitful and should lead to more joint actions, the region’s president and ANR have said.

The Pays de la Loire, located on the Atlantic coast, south of Brittany and Normandy, was one of the first regions in France to enter a partnership with the ANR. Such regional partnerships were designed with the aim of boosting regional contributions to France’s national research strategy.
