Bonn neurobiology centre becomes Max Planck institute

   

Caesar centre joins prestigious German society after cashflow problems at its funding foundation

A formerly independent research centre has joined the Max Planck Society and changed its name to the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior—Caesar.

The Bonn-based centre, formerly known as the Center of Advanced European Studies and Research and funded through a foundation, is now fully integrated into the Max Planck Society, it was confirmed last week.
